DENIM DANCERS
Sun, sea, and the best music? Say less. WECANDANCE is back for its 12th edition, and this time it’s coming in hot with a long weekend special thanks to the public holiday on Friday, August 15. That means three days of non-stop music, food, fashion, and iconic beachside vibes.

This year’s theme: Denim Dancers. Think timeless cool, dancefloor grit, and head-to-toe indigo. With 7 stages, over 150 artists, and a food line-up worthy of its own spotlight, this is not your average beach party.

Catch killer sets from Peggy Gou, Honey Dijon, Indira Paganotto, Mochakk, and Róisín Murphy, and get ready to dance from sunset to starlight. And the best part? Getting there just got easier — night trains now stop not just in Bruges and Ghent, but also Antwerp and Brussels.

Some people train to stay fit. Louise Seghers trains for the love of movement itself. A licensed physiotherapist from Antwerp with a Master’s in Sports Nutrition she got in Madrid, Louise is all about the full picture: movement & food, combined with lifestyle—no shortcuts, no gimmicks.
Her approach is holistic, but never dull. Think daily sauna (she is an addict, yes) combined with strength training on Monday, Pilates on Tuesday, boxing on Thursday, and maybe a marathon over the weekend—just for fun. “I love challenging myself and trying new things,” she says, and she means it. Try one of her classes and you’ll get the idea.

But it’s not just about sweat. Louise’s second gym is her kitchen, where she whips up vibrant, plant-forward meals that fuel both performance and recovery. Her signature style? Easy, clean recipes loaded with flavour—gluten-free banana protein cookies, zesty carrot salads, matcha hydration drinks that somehow taste like a spa day.
On Instagram and TikTok, you’ll find her blending science and simplicity, backed by her academic chops and grounded by a warm, no-nonsense vibe. She’s not here to preach—she’s here to share.

Carrot Cake Power Balls
Proof that snacks can be both saintly and satisfying. These carrot cake powerballs are sweet, spiced, and packed with nutrients—ideal for pre-workout fuel, post-workout recovery, or just when you need a little pick-me-up that won’t derail your day.
Ingredients
150 g raw carrots, finely grated
150 g walnuts
100 g almond flour
80 g shredded coconut + extra for coating
250 g medjool dates
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1½ tsp ground ginger
¾ tsp pink Himalayan salt
½ tsp nutmeg
optional: 1–2 tbsp maple syrup (if your sweet tooth says so)

Method
Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until a sticky dough forms. Roll into bite-sized balls, then coat in extra shredded coconut. Store in the fridge for up to a week—or freeze for later.
Snack smart. Lift heavy. Repeat.

From July 15 to August 24, Sumac is taking over the terrace at Café Capital. Expect their signature mezze and Lebanese-inspired dishes, served alongside a fresh lineup of seasonal cocktails.
Every Wednesday, they’re turning up the summer with Mezze & Music—a laid-back afterwork featuring live DJ sets and feel-good energy. It’s the midweek reset you didn’t know you needed.
Open Wednesday to Sunday, starting from lunch (12:00) until late. If you’re heading out to Club Capital on the weekend, start your night with dinner and drinks on the terrace.
