WECANDANCE: Three Days. One Beach.

Some festivals book artists.WECANDANCE builds worlds. From 14 to 16 August 2026, Belgium's most stylish beach festival returns to Zeebrugge Beach with more than 100 artists, new stages and a line-up that effortlessly blends international headliners with the best of Belgian talent. Expect performances from ANOTR, MAU P, Job Jobse, I Hate Models, Sara Landry, WhoMadeWho, Marlon Hoffstadt and many more. Behind the festival is The Brick member Bart Roman, whose team has spent years turning WECANDANCE into one of Belgium's most distinctive festival experiences, where music, fashion and nightlife meet on the Belgian coast.
WECANDANCE has never been just about the music. It's about discovering new sounds, expressing yourself through fashion, watching the sun disappear into the North Sea and sharing unforgettable moments with thousands of like-minded people. A beach. A sunset. A soundtrack. A little bit of magic.
Every edition of WECANDANCE revolves around a central creative theme. For 2026, that theme is Transparency. Think sheer textures, exposed details, shifting silhouettes and bodies moving through light and shadow. An honest, unfiltered universe where everyone is free to move, connect and express their truth.Or, put simply: less pretending, more dancing.  14-16 August 2026Zeebrugge BeachTickets & info: www.wecandance.be

WEAR SUNSCREEN

Ladies and Gentlemen of the class of '97. Wear sunscreen. If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it.Nearly 30 years after Baz Luhrmann delivered that now-famous advice, it still holds up remarkably well. That's why last weekend's The Brick Run featured IOAN, the Antwerp-based skincare brand founded by Brick member and style icon Jani Kazaltzis. Inspired by a Greek sunset and backed by science, IOAN creates skincare designed for real life. Commuting. Training. Travelling. Running. Living. Their philosophy is simple: skincare should deliver an immediate healthy glow while supporting your skin's long-term health.
Meet Sun Jelly 50. IOAN's Sun Jelly 50 is a lightweight daily SPF 50 designed specifically for movement. Using next-generation UV filters, antioxidants and skin-supporting ingredients, it delivers broad-spectrum protection against UVA, UVB and blue light while remaining comfortable, invisible and breathable on the skin. It's also water- and sweat-resistant, making it ideal for outdoor workouts, long runs, cycling sessions or simply enjoying a Belgian summer whenever it decides to show up. No greasy finish. No white cast. No excuses.
Exclusive for Brick Members! As part of our collaboration with IOAN, Brick members receive 15% off until July 15. Stay safe this summer!Use code: BRICK15Shop: www.ioan.eu

The Belgian Giant

You’ve probably seen Robin without realizing it. He’s the one quietly wiping down gym equipment in the corner. The kind of thing that usually goes unnoticed, except Robin is 204cm tall, so nothing about him really goes unnoticed. Our Big Friendly Giant went from a marketing degree to a Corporate Finance master at KU Leuven to an extended master in England, picked up a Personal Training certificate along the way (a lifelong student, by his own description) before ending up in finance consulting. In hindsight, The PT certification was always a bit of a tell.
It all started with his own training. Robin went from 65kg to 95kg over the course of a year and got completely hooked on what consistent work could do. He started writing training and nutrition plans for friends and family, built up a following on social media and never really stopped. He did that for years around his full time job before eventually saying goodbye to corporate finance and joining The Brick full time. His coaching style reflects the person: no pressure, no ego, built around wherever you’re starting from. Half Dutch, half Belgian, the Belgian in him keeps things grounded, while his Dutch side has an answer for everything, so you’re in excellent hands either way.
Outside the gym he meal preps, watches movies and plays Call of Duty to keep the reflexes sharp. He also carves out time for a drink on the weekend - which honestly is exactly the quality I look for in a personal trainer. If you see him around (and you will), go say hi!Train with Robin through personal training @ The Brick / Stokers / Circus coachrobin.be@thebelgiangiant
