In line with the rules as set out by the Government we are adopting the following important safety measures to make sure that you can do your workout in a safe, clean and respectful environment. When coming to The Brick or The Brick CrossFit, please take the below guidelines into account while enjoying your workout.

General guidelines for both locations:

  • Keep 1.5 meter distance between one another and avoid physical contact.
  • Work out individually.
  • Stay home when you don’t feel good. If you have a runny nose, a cold, a sore throat, a light cough and a rise in body temperature, stay home and take care of yourself.
  • Stay home if one of your roommates is ill or showing symptoms.
  • Avoid close contact with the staff and other members.
  • Follow the staff and club’s directions.
  • Wash your hands frequently, especially when arriving at The Brick.
  • Use the provided sanitizing products to wipe down immediately after use.
  • Only one person per cardio-strength equipment — this way we can guarantee the 1.5 meter physical distancing.
  • It is compulsory to wear a mouth mask at all times when not exercising.

Some specific information for The Brick – Waalsekaai:

  • The gym’s capacity is limited to 80 customers to guarantee physical distancing.
  • Reservation is not required but a representative will continuously safeguard our capacity and flow — therefore please try to avoid peak hours if possible as you might have to wait a bit if the gym is nearing its full capacity.
  • Registration for contact tracing will happen through your access badge.
  • Our staff will clean and disinfect the club on a regular basis and air ventilation will be put at full speed.
  • Showers, sauna and locker rooms will not be accessible until the end of August — please only bring the necessary items to the gym.
  • Toilets will be accessible.
  • Take a fresh towel (one per member) and use it while on the machines — you can’t work out if you don’t have one and put them in the basket at the end of your session.
  • Group classes will be limited to 9 clients.

Some specific information for The Brick CrossFit – Scheldestraat:

  • Group classes will be limited to 9 clients.
  • Upfront reservation is required through the app just like before — it is also mandatory for contact tracing.
  • Showers will not be accessible.
  • Bring your own towel.
  • Weather permitting, classes will take place outdoor.
