OLIVIA ‘MOWGLI’ FONSECA
“The simple bare necessities. Forget about your worries and your strife.”
Born on Tortola, on the Virgin Islands in the Caribbean, some things just came naturally to young Olivia: bare feet, sandy hair and saltwater on her skin were basically her early years summarized.
With her mother reading her Rudyard Kiplings’ ‘The Jungle Book’ before bed every night, it didn’t take long for her first nickname to stick.
The slower pace of living & an inherent sense of gratitude has stayed with young Mowgli since those early island years.
Be it that bitter piece of dark chocolate, a creamy cappuccino with fresh coconut milk or laughter in the sunset. She remains a true sucker for the small generosities life grants us each day.
”Nothing is something.”
Sort of a hobby of hers these days is to convince people to adopt strands of this philosophy. It is ok to take it easy and do nothing sometimes.
Chronic stress and burnouts are at an all-time high in our fast-paced society. She too wasn’t spared the rat race. It fueled her need and passion to seek a healthier, more balanced way of living for herself and others. One book turned into dozens of books, an array of yoga, integrative nutrition, health and mindfulness based teacher trainings in Costa Rica, and – most importantly – many hours of personal trial and error.
Fast forward almost 4 years, she’s overly excited to share the gift of mindfulness with the world.

Her main prerogative these days is to create a platform where the taboo on hustle culture can be broken, where people can (re)learn to listen to their bodies’ signals, where they can find the balance between ‘doing’ and ‘being’.
A space to realistically bridge the gap between age-old Eastern wisdom and our modern Western way of living. In a world where everything seems to be at full speed, her aim is to, together with you, make time to slow down and turn inwards.
Yoga, mindfulness and meditation, both in group as well as 1 on 1. From a more energetic Vinyasa to a peaceful meditation: the aim with her classes is always to bring you closer to yourself, to explore your mind and to sink into your body. Releasing the daily pressure of perfection, but rather stimulating playfulness and curiosity!
She will be back from holiday on the 28th of March.
MARINEAU X THE BRICK
A new month, a new venue. Just across from the gym and the CrossFit on the Waalsekaai, you can spot it from the treadmills.
As you might have also seen on the screens: our friends at Marineau are treating all the Brick-members to a free cocktail this month. The ideal time to discover this seafood heaven.
We keep adding classes where the need arises.

BOOKINGS AND CANCELS
As you all know we offer so many classes these days that a little weekly managing is in order.
For us to keep adding to the roster, we need to know how classes perform.
This can only be achieved if people actually show up to the classes they booked.
It pains us to still see classes with full waiting lists and empty seats.
We therefore adjusted the timing in which people can book and cancel.
This will only be possible during our opening hours, which are 07:00 ‘till 22:00.
Want more classes? Cancel in time. Or show up.
We would once more like to remind everyone to cancel their classes within the 4 hour window.
Cancel your classes on time through the app and don’t forget to check in on all locations with your QR-code, badge or card.
Phone, e-mail or social media are not valid ways to cancel your classes.
